A call for Unity and Prayer
A Call for Unity and Prayer
Christians of All Denominations, Come Together in Worship at City Halls and State Capitals Across the Nation
We, the body of Christ, find ourselves at a crucial crossroads. Our nation is in deep need of spiritual renewal, and now more than ever, Christians must come together in unified prayer and worship to seek the guidance of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We live in a time when the name of Jesus is being increasingly marginalized, and the voice of Christianity is often drowned out by secularism, division, and confusion. The cultural narrative is shifting, and in many places, the message of God’s love and truth is being censored or even vilified. Yet despite these challenges, we are called to rise up with one voice—in humility, in prayer, and in worship—declaring the eternal truth of Jesus Christ in a world that desperately needs it.
The Need for Unity
Christianity in our nation is deeply divided. We have allowed denominational lines, theological disagreements, and cultural preferences to separate us. In doing so, we have weakened our collective voice. The result is a fragmented Church that, though large in number, is often less effective in shaping the moral and spiritual direction of our culture.
But Jesus Himself prayed for unity among His followers. In John 17:21, He says, “That they may all be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” This unity is not merely an ideal—it is a command. A divided Church is a weakened Church, but a unified Church becomes a powerful force for transformation.
It is time for Christians to put aside our differences and unite around the foundational truth that Jesus is Lord. We are not Baptists or Catholics, Methodists or Pentecostals—we are one body in Christ. In this pivotal time, we must stand together, committed to advancing the Kingdom of God in our communities and across the nation.
A Nationwide Gathering of Prayer and Worship
We are calling Christians of all denominations to gather in unity at city halls and state capitals throughout the country. This is a time to lift up our communities, our leaders, and our nation before God, seeking His mercy, His wisdom, and His direction.
The theme is simple yet powerful: “One Voice for Jesus.”
Whether in large cities or rural towns, Christians are encouraged to come together in prayer and worship—interceding for wisdom, justice, peace, and healing. We are to pray for leaders to govern with humility and integrity. We are to pray for reconciliation, that hatred and division would be replaced by love and understanding. Most of all, we are to pray that the message of the Gospel—salvation through Jesus Christ—would be boldly proclaimed and received.
A Declaration of Faith
This gathering is not just a time for prayer—it is also a declaration of faith in the midst of a shifting culture. We proclaim boldly and with humility that Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). No matter how loudly the world tries to silence His name, we will not be moved.
In a time when truth is often distorted and morality is increasingly relative, Christians must rise as clear, unashamed witnesses of the Gospel. We will not back down. We will not be intimidated. We will not allow the name of Jesus to be erased from our public lives.
Let this event be a visible demonstration that we, the Church, are united in our commitment to Christ and His Kingdom. Let it be a testimony that, despite our differences, we are bound together by the unshakable bond of the Holy Spirit.
The Power of Prayer
When we gather in prayer, we are not simply making requests—we are submitting to the will of God, seeking His presence and His direction. Prayer is an act of surrender, a recognition that God is sovereign and we are dependent on Him for all things.
Scripture assures us of the power of prayer. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God promises, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Our land is in need of healing, and only God can bring the restoration we seek.
A Call to Action
We urge all Christians—regardless of denomination or background—to participate. We call on pastors, church leaders, and believers across the nation to mobilize their communities for this time of prayer and worship.
In the words of the Apostle Paul, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age…” (Ephesians 6:12). Our battle is not political or ideological—it is spiritual. And in this battle, prayer is our weapon, and unity is our strength.
Conclusion
Let us stand together in one voice, lifting high the name of Jesus and seeking His will for our nation. Let us set aside grievances, overcome division, and answer the call to unity that Jesus Himself prayed for.
As we gather in city halls and state capitals, may our worship and prayers rise as a sweet fragrance before the Lord. May they be a public declaration that our hope, our strength, and our future are found not in man, but in Jesus Christ alone.
Let us unite—in faith, in prayer, and in worship—for one voice, for one Lord, for one Kingdom.
